Sugarloaf –
The Sugarloaf neighborhood has its own post office, market and restaurant/bar.
Big Bear Settlers gave the name to the neighborhood seeing that the nearby mountain resembled a Sugarloaf. In settlement days, sugar was sold in pieces of a loaf.
Sugarloaf parcel lot sizes start at an average of 2,500 square feet. Focusing on smaller cabins, makes it a more affordable area.
